When your nervous system calms, everything else changes.
Over time, our ways of coping with the world simply become our ways of being in the world. But there is a place beyond learned patterns and survival. As the body begins to calm and the mind begins to see differently, a new way of relating to yourself emerges. This work is about moving toward that place. I’ll meet you there.

You learnt how to be
in the home you grew up in.
We see the past echoing in the present through our fears, doubts, perfectionism, hyper-independence & negative self-talk.
Old patterns like constantly monitoring reactions, replaying conversations long after they’ve passed, feeling guilty when you rest yet overwhelmed when you don’t, a body that never fully settles - these are not ‘you’. They are intelligent adaptations to stress. Unpacking this creates space for authenticity & choice.

What is ‘complex trauma’, and does it apply to me?
Complex trauma refers to the lasting changes to our inner world, nervous system & relationships that can result from early instability, unpredictability or disruption. It includes not only major traumas like abuse or neglect but also subtler “little t” experiences, such as the emotional climate of childhood, parental responses to stress, and the quality of our early attachment relationships.
